SUKAWANA TRAIL RUNNING, Sukawana Trail Run is an attractive and remarkable trail running race, designed to give an unforgettable adventure experience for participants who dare to explore the beauty of nature. The name “Sukawana” was chosen for its deep meaning; “Suka” means “joy” or “happiness” and “Wana” means “forest” or “nature,” creating an impression that the runners are taken to not only to explore the outdoors, but to find happiness in every step in the middle of the fascinating scenery.
The 13-km distance is packed with challenges. The running route roams through diverse terrain, starting with Sukawana tea plantations to the imposing pine woods. The soothing wind and invigorating forest air give a tranquil atmosphere and rejuvenate the spirits of the runners as they scale each kilometer with perseverance.
Apart from the lush countryside, the runners will also discover the views of the ruins of a historic fortress during their journey. This serves as a reminder of the complexity of the colonial past and enriches the runners’ experience with the cultural and historical significance of the region that they travel over.
More than just a race, Sukawana Trail Run is about experience and exploration.
